Passports - New Entry Requirements to the United States

Effective January 23, 2007, Canadians travelling to the United States by air must present a valid passport. This measure will soon be extended to travel by car and boat. Given the increase in applications at passport offices, it could take up to 45 business days (nine weeks) to obtain your passport.
